28th International Beypazarı Festival starts on 26-27-28 September

Folk dance teams, bands, concerts, exhibitions, children’s activities and cortege walks from different countries, as well as Türkiye, will bring thousands of visitors together in Beypazarı.

Friday, September 26: Festival enthusiasm begins

The festival will start with the celebration of the Ahilik Week at noon and the rice, tulumba and buttermilk. Then there will be a spiritual atmosphere with Sufi Music concert.

In the evening, the “Long live the Republic Cortege çalış will be held in front of Beypazarı Municipality with the participation of local and foreign guests. Ankara Club Seymen team, Edirne Municipal Band, Folklore Communities and Anıl Selvi concert will take place in the Atatürk Park stage.

Saturday, September 27: Meeting of Culture and Art

The second day of the festival will start with Seferihisar Municipality Band. Then the opening and protocol speeches will be held. Folk Dance teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye will perform throughout the day.

Mustafa Ünal & Nisa Bayram concert in the evening Atatürk Park, DJ Ersin Show and Blok3 concert will be held on the Dolmuş Stop stage. In Alaaddin Sokak and Suluhan, visitors will be given a day full of culture and art with animation shows, exhibitions, fashion shows, concerts and band performances.

Sunday, September 28: Magnificent closing

On the last day of the festival, folklore shows, food contest and Ankara City Orchestra concert will be held in Atatürk Park. Seferihisar Municipal Band, Folk Music Concerts, Folklore Teams and Yeşilçam Music Concert on Alaaddin Sokak Stage will meet the audience.

Zeynep Basık concert will mark the final of the festival. At night, the festival will be closed in a glorious way with laser and fireworks shows from Hıdırlık Hill.

Special exhibitions and digital demonstrations in Suluhan

Within the scope of the festival, the historical Suluhan Kervansarayı will host special events for three days.

• The giant LED screen will be presented with a cinevision screening about the historical importance of Beypazarı on the Silk Road, which consists of visuals prepared with artificial intelligence.

• In addition, the last paris of Anatolia and Ankara, which was seen in Beypazarı in 1974, will be brought together with a special exhibition.

• Children’s playgrounds,

• Local Products and Handicrafts Stands,

• Backs in Yörük Tent,

• Performances of Street Artists,

• Surprise street concerts of the bands,

It will be presented to the participants during the festival.

Mayor of Beypazarı Özer Kadapa said in a statement about the festival:
