It happened for the first time in the world. Albania Prime Minister Rama, the new cabinet has announced that the virtual minister developed with artificial intelligence.
Albania Prime Minister Edi Rama introduced the cabinet members who are expected to serve in the fourth period. While the ministers assigned to new positions in the cabinet were explained, the most striking statement was to include a digital service developed with artificial intelligence in the cabinet.
Aims to prevent corruption
Rama announced that the digital assistant called “Diella” was appointed as minister to control public tenders and prevent corruption. Prime Minister Rama said in a statement, “Diella, the first cabinet member who is not physically present and is virtual formed by artificial intelligence,” he said.
Described as a woman wearing traditional Albanian clothes, Diella, according to official data, has helped to arrange 36,600 documents on the e-Albania digital platform and to provide approximately thousand services.
