The Net Holding group has formally announced the divestment of its Merited Casino Montenegro operations, situated within Hilton Podgorica, and managed by Dzek Pot DOO. This move involves transferring the casino management responsibilities to the license holder, Dzek Pot DOO, as part of a broader strategic realignment.
According to the statement filed with the capital markets authority (KAP), the subsidiary Net Montenegro DOO will conclude its operations at Merit Casino Montenegro due to several factors. These include underperforming expectations, evolving market conditions (notably license renewal requirements), and the company’s strategic objectives. The devolution of the casino management role to Dzek Pot DOO is being completed, with the closing stages of the transfer ongoing. Importantly, the company notes that the impact of this operation on the Group’s consolidated financial statements is expected to be minimal.
As the process progresses, Net Holding communicates that the deconsolidation of this asset will reflect in the financial reporting in line with regulatory guidelines, ensuring transparency for stakeholders and the public about the current status and anticipated effects of the transaction.
